TUADIG strengthens digital competence in Ukrainian agricultural vocational education and training

The TUADIG needs assessment highlights the strong pedagogical competence of Ukrainian vocational educators, while also identifying a need to strengthen digital skills in the agricultural sector and expertise in simulation-based pedagogy. The findings will be used to inform the development of future training programmes, simulations, and immersive learning environments in collaboration with Ukrainian educational institutions and industry partners.

A comparison conducted in the smart farming test environment at the Bioeconomy Campus demonstrates how smart technologies can reduce the time and fuel required for sowing while also improving driver wellbeing.

On Friday, 25 September, Researchers’ Night brought together 1,500 science enthusiasts of all ages at Jamk’s Main Campus to explore research, try something new and talk with experts. Throughout the evening, research was opened up to the public through workshops, demonstrations and encounters.
